I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.

We get two episodes of the XF this time and once again, the judges will try to find that special person with the amazing talent. Will they find it? I hope so, cause I'm already losing interest ... It's time to face the music!
Recap and videos, plus a live feed, after the JUMP ...
Auditions 4
First up are very gay duo Kendro, who've got an addiciton to bad taste, make up and lip gloss, which they make obvious by applying more before performing, and of course, they are performing Lady Gaga's gay anthem by excellence, "Born This Way". "We are like twins" they say, incest anyone? Of course, their vocals suck, and of course, the judges love it. Well, Louis and his sidekick Tulisa do, and then manage to convince Kelly to send this through. "Your everything this competition doesn't need" says Gary. Ugh. See? Things like this are making me lose interest ... - VIDEO
"I think I'll talk more than I'll sing" Sami Brookes (31) informs us before going up on stage. She's got a massive crush on Louis. Plus, she's got a phony arm. She reminds me a lot to Katie Waissel. Haha. "Can you just sing?, cause Xtmas is coming" Gary tells her. She happens to have a massive voice, which reminds a lot to boring Mary Byrne. People go bonkers with her, with Kelly standing up in a weird way, and not sitting down till she leaves the stage. "The XF is the look" says Sami, "Not always" Louis says. And is it just me or Gary Barlow has the most boring speaking voice ever? I struggle not to fall asleep when he opens his mouth. - VIDEO
Montage of girlbands, all really sucky, with only Tress going throuhg, with their horrible harmonies. And now it's Twisted turn. Which includes last year repeater Chrissie Pitt, who has brought three backing singers this time around cause she doesn't have the confidence to audition alone. Oh wait, she said she wanted to do it with her friends, whatever. Backing singers sound like shit, whil Chrissie is a very powerful singer. They are sent home. Kelly wants to fight for Chrissie so she makes her leave her friends and audition by herself. Guess someone is losing three friends ... She proceeds to sing "Fuck You", which feels like the right choice cause she just told that to her friends. They love her this time around, so crying Chrissie is sent to bootcamp. - VIDEO
And we get the final audition of the day. Lascel Wood (20), who was on foster care cause his mother is bipolar. He's with her today, who has never heard him sing. It's quite impressing and he's got a rather interesting voice. His mother goes up on stage, she says she feels proud. Kelly gets very emotional, for no apparent cause. Lascel is sent to bootcamp. - VIDEO
Auditions 5
Marcus Collins (23) is up first. He's a hairdresser who brought his "fans" (clients) along for the run. Free cut if you look interested in me? His dream is to buy in an expensive clothes store. Yeah, he actually said that. He's got a quite great voice, very powerful but it reminds me to Danyl Johnson too much. We don't need the second coming of cockiness in person. This guy seems nicer though. - VIDEO
And he wasn't the only impressing act! Emma Wright (19) whose got a massive voice despite her rather tiny body (VIDEO) and James Michael (20) who seems to be Aiden 2.0 with his amazing quirky voice, which postitions him as my favourite guy thus far and puts him just below Janet Devlin. (VIDEO)
Jonjo Kerr (27), who's in the army and has a kid is the next contestant to perform. He's got an interesting voice but it's not as great as the audience makes it look like. He's quite average and he's really shaky. I like his soul sound and the raspiness in his voice though. I guess I can give him another chance. - VIDEO
Final contestant of the day is daddys girl Amelia Lilly (16). She wows everyone with her massive vocals and conisdering she's just 16, she did a rather amazing job with that rock song. Could this girl be the next lock for the liveshows? I think she can! Plus she's sweet, and cute. - VIDEO
