I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.

Music Video: Ke$ha: Take it Off

"Take It Off" is Ke$ha's fourth single from her debut album "Animal". It was released on July 13, 2010. The music video premiered on Vevo on August 3, 2010 and was directed by Paul Hunter and Dori Oskowitz. I just love this song! Yes, her voice isn't special or perfect, but she is fun! She is like a mini Lady Gaga, not so overloaded with the tragicness and darkness she has, but with a more funny and entertaining side. The meaning behind the song, according to Ke$ha, it's about taking off your inhibitions and being raw and real.
Watch the music video and buy "Animal" after the JUMP ...

"Blah Blah Blah" is the second single from Ke$ha's debut studio album, Animal. The song features additional vocals by 3OH!3. Co-written by producer Benny Blanco, Neon Hitch, Sean Foreman and Ke$ha herself; she has stated that the song speaks of men in the same way that they have talked about women in the music industry. It was officially available for U.S. radio on February 2, 2010.
The music video was directed by Brendan Malloy and was shot in Los Angeles during January 2010. It premiered on February 23, 2010 on Vevo. The main plot is relative to the song's lyrics, consisting of Kesha going on dates with guys who keep on talking – "blah blah blahing" – so she finds her way to shut them up.
