X Factor Australia 2012: Top 8 Perform: The 80s

Carmelo Munzone returned to the competition only to be eliminated three weeks later, but that's better than not even being a finalist, right? The theme for tonight is the 80s, which despite being completely boring, doesn't seem to be disappearing anytime soon. Will someone succeed at reworking a classic? Will we witness another trainwreck? ... It's time to face the music!

X Factor Australia 2012: Top 9 Perform: Legends

Last weeks result show was sublime. Justin Standley was finally sent home when he faced judges fave Angel Tupai in the B2, leaving us with an almost perfect Top 9. We still need to get rid of Jason, but there's always time for that tonight. The theme this week is "legends", much like the heroes theme on the XF UK first liveshow. We'll have Madonna, Coldplay, The Beatles and much more today, you don't want to miss it! ... It's time to face the music!

X Factor Australia 2012: Top 10 Perform: Top 10 Hits

We were in for a major shocker last week when judges favourite What About Tonight ended in the bottom 2 with Over Nathaniel Willemse. The judges decided to go to deadlock, revealing that WAT had received the least amount of votes, thus leaving the competition. The Top 10 will be singing, coincidentally, top 10 hits. Who end up being a one hit wonder? ... It's time to face the music!

There's been lots of controversy this week. After Adil Memon's elimination, he and fellow contestant Josh Brookes went on a live stream with fans, in which Josh made some unfortunate comments, so the producers decided to disqualify him. Since Adil was also part of it, he wasn't allowed to come back either and then mystery began. Who's gonna replace Josh? Will it be one of the JH boys such as Matt Gresham or Carmelo? Or will it be a someone totally different, like Vendulka? ... It's time to face the music!

X Factor Australia 2012: Top 12 Perform: Judges Choice

We witnessed some very shocking decision during last week's Judges Houses, for example Nat sending Vendulka (check my interview with her HERE) home and Ronan picking 3 boybands as his Top 3. Tonight, the Top 12 will perform for the first time live and tomorrow night, one of them will be saying goodbye. Who'll step up to the challenge? Who'll fail miserably? ... It's time to face the music!

Super-bootcamp proved to be one of the toughest challenges yet, with multiple contestants, including fan faves Bella Ferraro and Josh Brookes, crashing under the pressure and forgetting their words. Tonight, the remaining 24 contestants will be jetted to NY and London for the Judges Houses, my favourite stage of the competition. Who'll impress the mentors and make it to the liveshows and which fave will crash and burn? ... It's time to face the music!

X Factor Australia 2012: Super Bootcamp

The auditions proved that the talent this year is higher than ever and since the bar has been raised, bootcamp will now feature 4 times the judges. In previous editions the categories were divided prior to bootcamp, this time, the remaining contestants will have to face the 4 judges and also, a live audience. Who'll survive? Who'll crumble under pressure? ... It's time to face the music!

The first audition show proved that there's still a lot of talent down under. Bella, Samantha and Josh specially shone last night and tonight it's another bunch of contestants turn. Will we find another contender tonight or will they fail to impress? ... It's time to face the music!
