It was a bloodbath last week as not 2 but 3 contestants were cut from the competition. Along the way, the B3 curse was broken, with Kat Perkins managing to get the instant save when going against Sisaundra, Audra and Delvin. We are now down to 5 and with only one week till the final, the pressure is higher than ever! ... This is The Voice!

Tess Boyer couldn't avoid the B3 curse and was sent home along fallen to grace front runner Bria Kelly during last week's result show. The final 8 will perform tonight but the stakes are higher than ever as not 2 but 3 acts will be leaving the competition this week, with the B4 performing one more time to earn America's vote. This is gonna be crazy. ... This is The Voice!

Two very unlucky acts, Dani Moz and TJ Wilkins, were sent home last week after failing to get enough votes to make it through. With ten more performances and two acts leaving, it's anyone's game. Who'll leave us this time? ... This is The Voice!

We went from 20 to 12 in the past two weeks as the judges selected their three acts to move on to the live finals. This week, Twitter's instant save returns as one of the B3 vote-getters will get the chance to avoid the axe by delivering one final performance. Who'll be leaving us this week? ... New year, new talent, new rules, same coaches. The Voice returns for it's sixth season (at least to the blog) and with it, 20 new faces for us to get familiar with. Of course, not all of them will last much as the judges will be making one final cut before things go live, whittling down their teams from 5 to 3. Who will be making the Top 12? ... James Wolpert and Cole Vosbury were sent packing last week, leaving us with one of the strongest Top 3 in a while. The young teen with the phenomenal voice, Jacquie Lee, from Team Christina, and alternative rocker Will Champlin and Jamaican powerhouse Tessanne Chin, both from Team Adam. Who'll follow Danielle Bradbery footsteps? Will Christina win for the first time? Or will Adam be the winning coach again, after mentoring Javier Colon to the win during the first season? ... This is The Voice!

We lost once front runner Matthew Schuler last week after a few inconsistent performances, proving that you're only as good as what you did last. During tonight's semi-final, the remaining five contestants will perform once and by the end of the week, two would've gone home. Who won't make it to the final? ... This is The Voice!

Sweet Caroline Pennell and Ray Boudreaux were sent home last week after they found themselves in the B3 with frontrunner Matthew Schuler. The artists will perform twice tonight, one picked by themselves as a special dedication and another that was picked by their coach. Also, only one act will be sent home this time and the instant save will make it's last appearance of the season. Are you ready? ... This is The Voice!

Both Christina and Cee Lo lost one of their acts last week, Josh Logan and Jonny Gray. While their elimination was no surprise, I was kinda sad to see Jonny go since I'm really digging his "Another Day In Paradise" studio version. 10 become 8 this week. Will one of the coaches be eliminated this time? ... This is The Voice!

So I wasn't motivated enough to recap the auditions. Or the battles.
Or even the knockouts. At least I've been following the show, so I'm
truly ready to start covering it now, when things get exciting. This
year, with the addition of the steal during the knockouts, each team has
5 members, so 20 acts will compete in the playoffs. By the end of the
week, only 12 will advance though, so the pressure is higher than ever.
The original judges lineup is reunited this year and I can tell that
seeing them together makes me realize how much I missed them the
previous year, even if Shakira and Usher were good additions. Tonight,
Team Cee Lo and Team Christina will take the stage. Who'll impress us? ... This is The Voice!

The Voice US: Season 4: The Live Finals: Top 3 Perform: The Grand Finale

Amber Carrington and Sasha Allen were eliminated during last week's semi-final, thus leaving both Shakira and Adam with no acts left in the competition. That means that Blake has two acts in the finale, while Usher only has one. After a season long battle for the crown, tonight we'll find out who'll take it all and will succeed Cassadee Pope. Will it be the first duo to ever make it to the finale, The Swon Brothers? Maybe the quirky Michelle Chamuel? Or will it be country sweetheart Danielle Bradbery? ... This is The Voice?

The Voice US: Season 4: The Live Finals: Top 5 Perform: The Semi-Final

We said goodbye to country singer Holly Tucker last week, with Blake losing his first act since the live finals started. Now his team is down to two, The Swon Brothers and Danielle Bradbery. The rest of the coaches have one, Sasha Allen is Shakira's last hope, Amber Carrington is Adam's and Michelle Chamuel is Usher's. Tonight, the semi finalists will perform two songs each, one chosen by them as a special dedication and the other picked by their coaches. Since we only lost an act last week, we'll have a double elimination on tonight's live show. That also means that at least one coach will be left out of the finale, who'll it be? ... This is The Voice!

We had some shocking results last week, with Sarah Simmons and Judith Hill leaving the competition. 6 acts remain now, 3 on Team Blake and only 1 on Teams Shakira, Usher and Adam. Tonight, the contestants will perform two songs each, one picked by their coach and one by themselves. Instead of featuring another double elimination, 5 contestants will be advancing to the semi-finals. The pressure is on, who will be leaving us this week?
