Max Giesinger: "Unser Sommer" Out Now

Max Giesinger placed 4th on The Voice of Germany's first season, back in February 2012. A year later comes his newest single since the show, accompanied by an EP of the same name, "Unser Sommer". Personally, I don't understand a single word that's said but Max's voice captivated me from the moment he started singing. He's got such an interesting sound, I love his slightly raspy tone. To me, this song is the embodiment of summer, which probably makes sense since the title translates to "our summer".

Michael Schulte: "Jump Before We Fall" Video

He may have only placed 3rd during the first season of The Voice of Germany but that didn't stop Michael from recording an album, "Wide Awake", which he intends to release on September 28 via Very Us Records. His sophomore single, "Jump Before We Fall", hits the stores on September 14 and if you aren't already planning on buying it, you better start saving money right now. The song is totally different from his debut single "Carry Me Home", it's much more upbeat and catchy, while still in the alternative style he sported during the show. Let me tell you this, you won't regret it.

The Top 12 will perform tonight and the expectations are beyond everything, will they live it up or will they fall short? They can't play it safe at this point of the competition. Be ready to be awed and be prepared to unavoidable twists. This is it. Who'll leave us tonight?

Last week was phenomenal and this week is going to be a bloodbath! The
mentors are giving their all to support the contestants but can they
handle the pressure? The stakes are higher than ever, the prize means
the winner will have a bright future in the music industry and they will
get a worthy recording contract to make that happen. The Top 16 will be
fighting for survival and a chance of winning, who'll be the stand-out
tonight?

Another singing competition has born: The Voice Of Germany (TVOG)! You
must be wondering if there is any talent left to be discovered, but
don't worry because TVOG has promising stars to begin with. Like other
The Voice Series the show starts with Blind Auditions then Battle Rounds
and now here we are at the Top 24. The mentors line up are Xavier
Naidoo, The Bosshoss, Nena and Rea Garvey. Xavier is the best male
singer in Germany, he won MTV Europe Music Award - "Best German Act"
twice in 1999 and 2002. The Bosshoss is a band with western country
genre, they covered some famous songs like Hey Ya (Outkast) and Toxic
(Britney Spears). With her band, Nena, reached international success,
they split in 1987 and Nena went solo. Last but not least is Rea Garvey,
he's been collaborating with Nelly Furtado and Mary J. Blige and he's
frontman of the German rock/pop band Reamonn, so no doubt the mentors
are intimidating! Join me and enjoy the ride...

Are you interested in being a writer for Mu$ic i$ the Door? Well, this may be your chance. In the next months, many The Voice series are premiering worldwide and it's quite obvious I won't be able to cover all of them, so I'm looking for writers who'd like to take them up!
