Claudia de Graaf, Sam Holden, Babette van Vugt and Laurrhie Brouns
were eliminated during last week's Top 16, leaving each team with 3
members each and a total sum of 12 contestants competing for the title.
Only 8 will remain after this show, will we have any shockers tonight?

We lost 16 contestants last week (Omri Tindal, Niña van Dijk, Nicola Ebbink, Marx Margono, Katty Heath, Sifra Geessink, Patt Riley, Denzel Dongen, Randy Soewarno, David Gonçalves, Mathijs Rumping, Janine Heines, Ron Link, Velorisa Yorks, Jared Hiwat and Pomme van de Ven) and we were left with 16 more. I've named all the eliminated contestants cause chances are that you've already forgotten most of them. This week, 4 more will be leaving us, resulting in a Top 12, a more manageable number of finalists. Who'll be facing the axe tonight? ... This is The Voice!

I know I didn't write The Battles recaps but it's not because I didn't want to but because I kept forgetting to do it. So instead of simply quitting to recap the series, I'll just skip to the liveshows! Tonight, each coach will give a total of 10 points to each contestant and those points (out of 40), will then be added to the public's points. We've got a colossal amount of finalists, 32!, so we better get started! ... This is The Voice!

We witnessed a great start last week with Sandra van Nieuwland stealing the show with a haunting cover of Usher's "More", which also gave her a #1 spot at the iTunes store. Will someone make such a big impact on us tonight?. ... This is The Voice!
