I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.

Formed in Aarhus in 1996 and signed to Copenhagen Records and with five albums released, Nephew has seen lots of success due to their original lyrics which mix English and Danish, and the result ain't bad at all! It actually works perfectly! They have a Depeche Mode vibe going on and afterall, they are their biggest influence. Simon Kvamm fronts them and we could say that this band's popularity is all thanks to him given that he had a really popular stint on a danish comedy show which helped boosting their second album, USADSB, sales, which certified it double platinum. I must admit that the lead's voice isn't the most unique one but what I really like about this band is their originality. Their lyrics are great and I love the idea of a rock band singing in both languages. Plus, all this together sounds amazing!
Album and music videos after the JUMP ...
