I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.

Have you ever wondered what would have become of Lady Gaga if she was half chilean and half danish? Well, probably not but she'll probably be Medina. Born Andrea Fuentealba Valbak in Aarhus, this RnB/dance godess has certainly made an impact in the european world! Her debut album, "Welcome to Medina" was certified double platinum in Denmark, charting #2, and then also charting in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Signed by Parlophone, EMI and Ultra Records, there's no doubt that she's talented, the question is, will she ever be able to outsell the likes of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry or Rihanna? The odds are certainly against her but she may get really near if not tie them because Medina is not your typical dance star wannabe. She's got a special something, that spark that's needed to success in the bussiness. Medina sings on a league of her own among many dance/RnB singers and that's what will take her far.
Buy "Welcome to Medina" and check her music videos after the JUMP ...
