Must Be the Music (MBTM) is a British new reality show to be brodcasted on Sky HD, who will search for the next musical sensation. The show will allow any genere, from pop to rap to opera, as well as intrumentalists, singers or groups.  The acts can perform any song, as well as originals, meaning that they have complete control of themselves, not such as show like Idol were they have to stick to themes and song lists. The acts will have Facebook, MySpace, YouTube and Twitter accounts. Their performances will also be made available through iTunes and Sky Songs. The winner will get a career-boosting £100,000, as well as managment advice, etc.

The show will premiere this Sunday, August 8, at 7 PM, as a preview show. The next two weeks, the auditions will be aired, which were held at London, Manchester and Edinburgh. The live shows will premiere on August 29, I still don't know the number of acts, how long will they last, etc. But I do know that it'll be similar to the Idol format. One thing is for sure, it's gonna be INSANE! I don't know you, but I have huge expectations with this one! 3 stellar judges and a well known host, plus a refreshing format!

Don’t miss the preview show on August 8 on Sky1 HD. You can already get your free tickets for the live shows  HERE and check the show website HERE.
