I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.
MDS Sound of 2012: Louise and the Pins

Louise Hull and her Pins, who are her backing singers, made their breakout performance with their haunting cover of "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" on Demort O' Leary's radio show, and since then, the London songstress has been supporting the likes of Martha Wainwright, Regina Spektor, Mumford & Sons and Laura Marling. "Bell Jar" and "Beauty Strage" show the tenderness of her voice, which is a little soul, a little folk and a little country, all making a beautiful blend and sublime material. There's no doubt that this girl will be big cause all aspects of her voice point to that.
Videos after the JUMP ...
