I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.

Already climbing the charts and creating buzz in the UK, Harrow, North West London's Loick Essien first came on the music scene in 2008 appearing on Chipmunk's single "Beast" and Bashy's lead single "When the Sky Falls". Consistently having singles that top his previous chart performance, Eissen has massive potential. Signed with Sony Music, his amazing third single "How We Roll" ft. Tanya Lacey entered at number two in the UK Singles Chart and became his biggest single to date off his upcoming album "Identity", which is scheduled for a March 6th release. His latest single "Me Without You", is one of his best yet, not only beautiful and catchy but also debuting on the charts at number fourteen. His voice is best describable as a combination of Kanye West and Taio Cruz at their best. Add in Essien's dark and beautiful digital R&B sound, he is bound to really be one of 2012's biggest artists. Keep an eye out for this guy!
