One of the lead singers of the irish band, Boyzone, died on October 10 while on holiday in Majorca, Spain with his husband Andrew Cowles. The causes of his death are still unknown. Police said they had no reason to believe the death was related to abuse of substances such as drugs or alcohol and no suicide note or signs of violence were located near him. The remaining members headed to Majorca immediately, also, Louis Walsh, the band manager flew to Spain, dropping out of The X Factor Sunday show. Gately's bandmates described him as "our friend and brother" and said that he "lit up our lives".
