The canadian singer, Avril Lavigne, has filed for divorce on Ocotber 9 from her musician husband Deryck Whibley after three years of marriage. Commenting about this on her website, Lavigne said: 'I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. I am grateful for our time together and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship.' While she announced last month she was splitting with her husband, the divorce didn't come out until now.
