We're nearly at live shows stage! Yes, with just one week to go until the show hits the lives, it's crunch time for each of the judges as they select the three acts they wish to mentor in live shows. With 25 acts through to Judges Houses, 13 will be going home without a place in the lives whilst 12 acts will make the all important stage where the public get a say! Will favourites such as Ella Henderson, Jahmene Douglas, Lucy Spraggan and Carolynne Poole manage to make it through?

The auditions proved that there's still talent in Sweden after 8 years of Idol and The Voice. Young contestants like Isak Danielson and Sara Nutti and more seasoned ones like Sabina Ddumba and Kristin Amparo, all wowed us during the initial stages but will they be able to keep their strike going and impress the judges for a second time? ...

Welcome to another night of The Voice. I thought this was going to be the last week of auditions but sadly it isn't, looks like we are going to have to deal with at least one more audition episode next week. I'm already tired of auditions, I'm ready to get to the battles and see what kind of drama these new changes will bring, but until then I guess we will see if we find a winner tonight!

There's been lots of controversy this week. After Adil Memon's elimination, he and fellow contestant Josh Brookes went on a live stream with fans, in which Josh made some unfortunate comments, so the producers decided to disqualify him. Since Adil was also part of it, he wasn't allowed to come back either and then mystery began. Who's gonna replace Josh? Will it be one of the JH boys such as Matt Gresham or Carmelo? Or will it be a someone totally different, like Vendulka? ... It's time to face the music!

UPDATE: Episode 6 added. I'm also looking for a Swedish translator, if interested, please email me.
I'm sorry for the delay but I've been swamped with all the shows I'm covering. Who'd have thought that covering 4 shows will take so much of my time? Haha. But now that I made a little space, I decided I better started covering the show. As you all remember, Idol Sweden went on hiatus after Amanda Fondell was declared the winner and TV4 decided to replace it with The Voice and The X Factor. The Voice premiered earlier this year, with Ulf Nilsson winning the show, and now, it's the XF turn! Hosted by
David Hellenius and judged by former Idol judge
Andreas Carlsson, singer and Melodifestivalen 2012 entry
Marie Serneholt, hip-hop duo Ison & Fille member
Ison Glasgow and 90s popular singer
Orup, the show will hopefully fill the gap left by Idol and if not successful, Idol can always return next year ...

With countless contestants making it through auditions, Bootcamp is really the point where the judges seperate the serious contenders from the also-rans. So expect tears, tantrums and shock exits!

Is this time of the year again. The XF UK auditions are already under way so what a better way to prepare for the show than by reading some spoilers? Both Tulisa and Gary Barlow are joining once again Louis Walsh, while Kelly Rowland has been let go. No permanent judge has been announced yet, so we'll be looking forward to that. The following list is of auditionees, no info wether they made it or not yet.

Last week we finally saw the awful Kedebon Colim leaving the competition when he faced Daddy's Home in the final showdown. I've no doubt that no one will miss him. Since we are already down to the Top 5, I've decided to include all the remaining acts into this post, so it's basically a recap now. The final 5 will be singing "Revival songs", which would be a cover of a cover. I know, weird and boring. Who picks this themes?

Hello everyone and welcome to another week of the X Factor US. Last week we were introduced to two new judges. One being Disney star Demi Lovato and the other pop princess Brittney Spears. Despite the star power among the judges, there was a significant lack of talent among the contestants but hopefully that'll change this week. Remember Lakoda Rayne? The chances are that you don't, so I'll refresh your memory. The girls were one of the contestants during the XF US inaugural season but failed to make any impression on the show, making it only to the Top 9. The girls were formed at bootcamp and were originally a four piece but one of it's members, Paige Elizabeth Ogle, decided to leave the group to attend college this past May, leaving Hayley Orrantia, Cari Fletcher and Dani Knights on their own. The girls, however, didn't let that stop them and went on to release their debut single, the country driven "Emergency Brake". The girls weren't the most special act the show has seen but their good looks and voices were always something nice to see. The song won't set the charts on fire but I think it can actually do well on country radios cause it's got a quite catchy rhythm.

I've not many expectations for tonight but hopefully, someone can impress me.

I won't lie, I feel like The X Factor isn't living up to normal standards, too much focus on stories and messing around and not enough singing. Apart from that, so far, there are only a handful of acts who have seriously impressed me. Last night wasn't much better than the infamous Week 2 auditions earlier in the series where even the press picked up on the serious lack of talent shown during the programme. I don't know why but for some reason, the outstanding talent appears to be few and far between. Let's hope that tonight is a bit better! Tonight the panel are joined by Leona Lewis and Nicole Scherzinger as the show hits London and Manchester!

He may have only placed 3rd during the first season of The Voice of Germany but that didn't stop Michael from recording an album, "Wide Awake", which he intends to release on September 28 via Very Us Records. His sophomore single, "Jump Before We Fall", hits the stores on September 14 and if you aren't already planning on buying it, you better start saving money right now. The song is totally different from his debut single "Carry Me Home", it's much more upbeat and catchy, while still in the alternative style he sported during the show. Let me tell you this, you won't regret it.

XF S7's runner-up is unveiling her newest single, "Backtrack", which will be featured on her album's re-release, along with new songs "Good Days, Bad Days" and "I'll Count the Days" and covers "Take Care" and "Strange & Beautiful". To me, "Backtrack" is one of her best songs to date, it's got a dance-ish vibe, which I've always said works perfectly with her soulful voice, and is also extremely catchy. The new single hit the stores on October 14, with "Heaven" hitting the stores a day later.

It wouldn't be The X Factor if an auditions show wasn't 55% random chat, 35% adverts and 10% singing. And whilst last week was more 64% Rubbish 35% Adverts and 1% Good singing, the show has managed to convince me to watch again this week as everyone's favourite grumpy Spice Girl Mel B rejoins the panel in Manchester for a third time and Anastacia travels to Glasgow to join the panel where she's hoping to find some incredible talent. So will we find the next big superstar or will we end up with the next tuneless wannabe who ends up on Celebrity Big Brother a few months later?
