Some may recall their bubbly hit "Make Me Smile" featured in a Victoria's Secret advertisement campaign in the United States, we at MDS just so happen to think that Katie Sutherland and indie pop Scottish band Pearl & The Puppets deserve much more exposure. Katie's voice has been described as being similar to Regina Spektor or Dolores O'Riordan and their music couldn't be a more perfect mix of quirky lyrics and a bubbly, easygoing beat. While it was announced on December 2nd 2011 that Katie will no longer be making music as Pearl & The Puppets, she will continue on with a music career under her own name and if it's anything like Pearl & The Puppets, this girl has a bright future awaiting her.
