UPDATE: Casey Abrams is eliminated! Booo America!
Finally America!! Thank you so much! Last week, everyone saw Stefano Langone being cut from the competition when he found himself in the bottom with Jacob. And after that result, everyone had a smile on his face! Tonight, the top 6 tackle songs from Carole King and will also perform duets! Sounds really exciting! ... This is American Idol!

UPDATE: Stefano Langone is cut!!! YES!!! Finally America! B3 were Jacob and possibly Haley, but I don't think she was, Ryan made it really confusing. I guess it was a B2 only.
Finally! The first guy was cut last week! Still, it wasn't the right guy. Paul McDonald was eliminated in a non surprising result show when he saw himself with Stefano Langone in the B2. Paul was definitely one of the most entertaining and unique contestants this season while Stefano was tad boring as always. Tonight, the remaining contestants perform Songs From the 21st Century! YES! They are going to tackle contemporary songs! A first on Idol history. What will happen tonight? Will the 7 contestants prove that they can sing current songs? ... This is American Idol!

UPDATE: Paul McDonald is eliminated! B3: Stefano and Haley.
Last week actually topped Casey's boot. Fans and judges fave, Pia Toscano, who was considered the one to beat, got the boot in on of the most shocking cuts of the season. Yeah, more shocking than Casey's! Fans have said lots of things about this but the truth is that she was boring, great voice but sleepy, so the cut was coming eventually. Now, with only 8 contestants remaining and only 2 girls, the pressure is bigger than ever! Will the girls manage to survive this week? Will a boy finally leave? ... This is American Idol!

UPDATE: PIA TOSCANO IS CUT!!! OMG!!
Two contestants were cut last week. And of course, two females were cut. Naima Adedapo and Thia Megia both got the boot at last week's results show. But the most surprising thing was that not Stefano, but Paul was in the Bottom 3 with them! What will happen tonight? Will the 9 remaining contestants step up their game? ... This is American Idol!

UPDATE: Naima Adedapo and Thia Megia are cut!
In one of the most surprising results shows ever, the once conisdered front runner, Casey Abrams was eliminated from the show. An extremely nervous Casey performed once more only to be cut short by Randy. He got the save! Now the Top 11 perform one more time but this time not one, but two contestants will be cut. Who will them be? ... This is American Idol!

UPDATE: Casey Abrams is cut!!!! And he gets the SAVE! No one goes home!
Last week we saw latina hopeful Karen Rodriguez get the boot after two horrid performances in the Top 13. Tonight, the final 11 acts take the stage for my favourite theme of all times, Motown! We've got some of the greatest songs of history tonight! Who will kill a classic? Who will rework it? ... This is American Idol!

After the shocking - not - elimination of Ashthone Jones, the final 12 contestants perform once more this time singing songs from the year they were born! Dating from 1984 to 1995, at least it promises to be a different night! Who will nail their birth year song? ... This is American Idol!

UPDATE: Ashthone Jones is CUT! Bottom 3 were Karen and Haley.
Finally!!! The Top 13 were announced in a shocking reveal last night and tonight, the Top 13, that is, the Top 10 plus the 3 wildcards will be performing songs by their personal idols, all of them being teamed with all star producers such as Don Was, Jimmy Iovine, Jim Jonsin and the Rock Mafia duo. It promises to be an exciting night!! ... This is American Idol!

This is it!!! The semi-finals are finally here! 12 guys and 12 girls will fight in the following two nights for a place in the Top 13 and be closer to the ultimate prize, a record deal! Tonight, the boys will leave all on stage to impress the viewers enough to secure them a spot, who will crumble on stage? who will impress? ... This is American Idol!
