Last week, Lisa Miskovsky and Danny Saucedo made it to the final during the final semifinal. Tonight, the 3rd and 4th placers from all the semis will compete for a chance to make it to the big final next week.Who will be our last 2 finalists?

Sweden's biggest music competition is back! After Eric Saade's victory last year with "Popular", which ultimately placed third in Eurovision, the stakes are higher than ever and the swedes are eager for another Eurovision title. Will this finally be the year they bring back home the ultimate prize? Remember, Sweden hasn't won since 1999, year in which Charlotte Perrelli (last name Nilsson back then), was selected the winner with the song "Take me to your heaven". So is there another "Take me to your heaven" in this year's bunch?

The final is here!!! The 10 finalists, that is the 8 who advanced directly and the 2 andra chansen acts are compiting one more time now for the ulitmate prize! A place in the Eurovision Song Contesnt and trying to bring it to Sweden by winning! I'm not recapping the performances, cause my comments will be the same but I'm going to explain the voting system and of course posting the results!

The second semi-final is on and 8 more acts will fight for two places at the final or get a second chance in the "Andra Chancen" round. Who will be the ultimate winner? As you know, the channel eliminates all the advancing acts videos, so they will be posted until they are eliminated. You also have the VOTING NUMBERS to vote for your favourite act! The first number costs 3.60 kr and the second 9.90 kr., don't know why yet, if someone knows please tell me.

I followed the latest season of Idol, so I thought it was about time I covered one of the biggest music festivals and indeed swedish biggest one, the Melodifestivalen! For newcomers, the show features several well known and not so known swedish singers who present a new song as the Eurovision entrey of the country, being the show's winner, the act participating in the Eurovision, all decided by public votes. And for Eurovision newcomers, the show, which has a long history, searchs for the best european song in general terms. Melodifestivalen semi-finals, all featuring 8 acts, will go on for 3 more weeks and then there will be a wildcard, formed by 3rd and 4th placers, and then the ultimate final, where the winner will be selected! As you know, the channel eliminates all the advancing acts videos, so they will be posted until they are eliminated.
