Nouvelle Star 2013: Top 6 Perform

Timothée Rossignol left last week after yet another disappointing performance. Tonight, the remaining 6 contestants will sing two songs each, hoping to avoid getting the chop. fun.'s hit "We are Young" and Pink's "Raise Your Glass" were both covered, but were those efforts enough to avoid elimination?

Nouvelle Star 2013: Top 7 Perform

The first liveshow shocked us with the elimination of three contestants, all of them female. Léa, Adélaïde and Charlotte left the competition after the first two got cut by the judges and the latest got the axe when facing the public's decision. Just 7 remain now and by the end of the night, one more will be leaving. An interesting fact, someone dared to cover PSY's "Gangnam Style". But was it a worthy risk or did it lead to the contestant's elimination?

Nouvelle Star 2013: Top 10 Perform

Nouvelle Star, the French version of Idol, has been dead for almost 3 years, with the quirky, over the top Luce Brunet being it's last winner. Fortunately for fans of the show (including myself) D8 is bringing it back from the ashes for a 9th season, a move no one saw coming. André Manoukian returns as judge, with Olivier Bas, Maurane and Sinclair joining the panel. The liveshows have already began and thankfully, Flavien will be reviewing it for us, also translating the judges comments. So let's get started, shall we?
