Idol Norge 2013: Top 4 Highlights

The unthinkable happened when the wonderfully talented Astrid Smeplass was eliminated after finding herself in the bottom 2 with another insanely talented lady, Astrid Sugaren. 4 remain now and tonight they'll sing two songs each, one being their favourite past Idol performance and the other a duet with a former finalist. Who'll leave us tonight?

Sverre Eide left the competition last week after yet another atrocious performance. Only 5 remain now and tonight they'll be singing original songs, which will then be released. Who'll deliver a hit? Who'll flop miserably?

Georg Lipai left the past week after an uninteresting rendition of Keith Urban's "Days Go By". Tonight, the Top 6 take on Norwegian music, which will certainly give us some interesting results. Who'll miss out of next week's Top 5?

Martine Rygvold was our latest casualty leaving after an outstanding Nirvana cover. It's country week tonight with the song list including Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and First Aid Kit. Can you guess who sang what? And yes, only 4 performances this week!

Ola Weel Skram was the unfortunate contestant eliminated last week after singing the unlucky "Ambitions". This week, the contestants take on some of recent year's most iconic songs to some fantastic results. 6 of them made it this week, with the best performances being Carly Rae Jepsen's hit and a Pink Floyd's classic. You don't wanna miss it!

Last week we only saw the girls. 3 great singers and one who had an off week. This week, we take a look at some of the boys, one of them got eliminated but if you ask me, it wasn't much of a loss. Who impressed you the most this week? A certain blond?

Idol Norge 2013: Top 10 Highlights

I'm sorry I've not covered this show so far because I really wanted to. However, I'll try to catch up with it now. After Jenny Langlo won S6, the judges panel was revamped. Joining returning judge Gunnar Greve Pettersen are Esben Selvig and former Idol contestants Tone Damli Aaberge (S3 runner-up) and Kurt Nilsen (S1 winner). There's not much to review this week as most of the contestants were below average. Only 4 girls stood up in my opinion (one not necessarily in a good way) and unfortunately, one of them was sent packing.
