I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.
Lakoda Rayne: "Emergency Brake" Out Now

Remember Lakoda Rayne? The chances are that you don't, so I'll refresh your memory. The girls were one of the contestants during the XF US inaugural season but failed to make any impression on the show, making it only to the Top 9. The girls were formed at bootcamp and were originally a four piece but one of it's members, Paige Elizabeth Ogle, decided to leave the group to attend college this past May, leaving Hayley Orrantia, Cari Fletcher and Dani Knights on their own. The girls, however, didn't let that stop them and went on to release their debut single, the country driven "Emergency Brake". The girls weren't the most special act the show has seen but their good looks and voices were always something nice to see. The song won't set the charts on fire but I think it can actually do well on country radios cause it's got a quite catchy rhythm.
