I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.
Swedish Week: Introducing: Marit Bergman

Having dissapeared after her latest release, "The Tear Collector", in 2009, who knows what masterpiece Marit is working on at the moment. One thing is a fact, she's one of Sweden's most valuable singer of the past 10 years, with two of her albums being a #1 hit, earning her two Swedish Grammies. While she describes herself as a mix of Madonna, Mary J Blige and Sonic Youth, for some odd reason, her sound is more resambling to fellow swede Anna Ternheim with her folky pop driven tunes and her almost ethereal voice, not to mention her beautiful lyrics. I wonder when she'll make her comeback, cause I fear people may start forgetting her by now. On the other side, she may be focusing on her family, cause she had a son recently but we need a new album desperately, so she may want to speed that up ...
