I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.

Somebody to Love - Leighton Meester
This is the first single by Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester featuring Robin Thicke. The song is the lead single off of her debut album. It is an uptempo electro pop song that harks influences of 90's dance music like that of Madonna. It draws influences of pop music, electronica, and R&B with Robin Thicke's vocals. Meester said in an interview that 'the song is basically about how I can't get any — I can't find anyone to love. I really wanted to make something that's completely different from anything that's on the radio right now. I feel like it's really dancy and fun, but it's still laid back and relaxed and moody and sexy.' I have nothing more to say of the song.
