I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.
Carly Simon sues Starbucks

Apparently the country singer is suing the coffee chain Starbucks for failing to promote her 2008 album, This Kind of Love. Although the album sold 23000 copies in the first week, her lawyers claim that the album was not available in "a substantial number" of Starbucks stores during the important early months following its release. In a statement, the coffee chain said it had fulfilled all its obligations regarding the CD but it had only had a "tepid response" from customers. Another album is set to hit stores in the next days, Never Been Gone. Hope she sells the number she wants.
