Amber Carrington and Sasha Allen were eliminated during last week's semi-final, thus leaving both Shakira and Adam with no acts left in the competition. That means that Blake has two acts in the finale, while Usher only has one. After a season long battle for the crown, tonight we'll find out who'll take it all and  will succeed Cassadee Pope. Will it be the first duo to ever make it to the finale, The Swon Brothers? Maybe the quirky Michelle Chamuel? Or will it be country sweetheart Danielle Bradbery? ... This is The Voice?

Recap and videos after the JUMP ...
The Swon Brothers

"I Can't Tell You Why" - Team Blake - 5/10 - They started this journey when they could make noise. Every song they've done on the show represents what kind of music they're gonna make. Blake has opened their eyes to what they can do. "The Swon Brothers win people over with their personalities" Blake says. They picked this song to show America everything they can do with their vocals. This is the definition of a bland performance. They are decent singers and their falsetto wasn't that atrocious but they bring nothing new to the songs they sing. They are just a generic duo which is only suitable for karaoke night. "I'm so pleased to tell you did an incredible job. Those guys are some of the most amazing singers in the world and it's a really tall order to do one of their songs, you did a great job" (Adam)

Michelle Chamuel

"I Knew You Were Trouble" - Team Usher - 10/10 -  Usher chose this record because he felt it was pivotal in the entire competition and felt it was an incredible moment for her. This, along with "True Colors" was one of my favourite performances from her. It's an energetic and dynamic cover, just like the first time. I love the sound of her voice on this one but what makes this such a great performance is the way she commands the stage. She totally owns the stage with her intense and dramatic delivery. Props to her!  "I'm so thrilled that you made it to the final because your energy is crazy, it's contagious" (Shakira)

Danielle Bradbery

"Timber, I'm Falling In Love" with Blake Shelton - Team Blake - 7/10 - Blake met with Danielle's family this week, her parents and her step-parents. When watching The Voice at home, she'd always say she'd pick Blake as her coach. Blake feels he's part of Danielle's family now. That was nice, I guess. I really don't enjoy when Blake duets with his acts, so I didn't exactly like that much. That said, Danielle's got a terrific voice and her tone is really gorgeous. I don't get tired of it.

The Swon Brothers

"Danny's Song" - Team Blake - 6/10 -  Blake thinks they turned a corner when they did this song and opened people's eyes to how truly talented they really are. They sang this song last week. I get that it was arguably one of their best performances but this was already boring the first time around. It's a very manipulative song choice as well. If they wanted to sing something that was fresh in their minds, "Turn the Page" was a much better performance. "It feels like this could be on radio right now today. I'll be home Wednesday back in Oklahoma and I guarantee you I'm gonna turn on the radio and I guarantee you they are playing your version of this song. Your sound, your harmonies, they get better every time you perform" (Blake)

Michelle Chamuel

"Why" - Team Usher - 9,5/10 - It was her instinct that made her pick Usher. "Who'd have ever thought that a quirky girl with glasses would have taught me something" Usher says. She doesn't want to let her coach down with this big song. She certainly didn't. The performance starts with her looking at a set of mirrors. The image reflected is actually a film. Why was the point of that? I'm not sure but it definitely was a cool little trick. She's then joined by an also unnecessary choir, which kinda took away the simple quality of the song. Michelle performed phenomenally though and I couldn't really fault her voice a single time. A stunning cover. "I thought she was phenomenal, I think she is phenomenal. The mirror takes us back to when we first make the connection to the world. Every artist would hope to posses these two things, likability and capability, to me that represents a successful artist and that is what you posses" (Usher)

"Celebrity" with Blake Shelton - Team Blake - 4/10 - Blake also got to meet The Swon Brothers' parents. "Words can't describe your sons achieve their dream" their dad says. They don't think they'd have made it to the Top 3 if it wasn't for Blake. I'm so glad that this is their last performance! I know it sounds mean but I really don't enjoy their sound. This was another horrid Blake Shelton duet, though the lyrics were hilarious.

Danielle Bradbery

"Maybe It Was Memphis" - Team Blake - 9/10 -  Blake thinks it's really hard to pick a defining moment for Danielle because she's had so many. So he picks this song because he thinks it was the very first time people realized how powerful she's as a vocalist and how pure her sound is. This was a lovely song the first time around and it sounds as beautiful as it did tonight. Danielle's such a natural performer, she's got a lot of time to learn how to translate the emotional aspects of the songs she sings, but right now, she's a young cute girl with an incredible voice that shows a maturity beyond her years. "I hate you Blake so much. I also love you because you did the right thing with Danielle. The crazy thing about your voice is that it's so unbelievably perfect, one of the better voices I've ever heard live. I think Danielle is the winner of this thing" (Adam)

Michelle Chamuel

"One" with Usher - Team Usher - 9,5/10 - Usher gets brunch with Michelle's mom and cousin. Her mom is a Jewish Egyptian refugee. He is really grateful for all that Michelle has taught him. Unlike Blake, Usher is indeed really versatile and adapts to each song he performs. His voice blends perfectly with Michelle's and it makes from an awesome duets. It's actually one of the best duets I've seen on a finale. Great song choice as well. Usher's coaching had some ups and downs but he's made a terrific job the last couple of weeks. How great would it be a collaboration between these two for Michelle's first album?

Danielle Bradbery

"Born to Fly"  - Team Blake - 9,5/10 - Her mom signed her up for the show and she just went for it. Blake things that if she continues to connect with the audience she'll be unstoppable. He also thinks this is the perfect song because the one thing we've not seen her do is an uptempo song. This is a perfect performance for Danielle. It's fun and entertaining and very light. It captures that sunny feel her voice exudes. She does pretty well with the upbeat part of it, her vocals are actually flawless. She should have brought a bit more fun to her attitude on stage, just like I know Holly Tucker would have, but other than that, this is an ideal final cover for her. "At the end of the day, honestly, it's hard for me to even look at you. I'm one of the millions of people out there that you've wrapped around your finger. Thank god that you came to The Voice because you are such an important person to music" (Blake)

And as everyone predicted, Danielle Bradbery has been crowned the winner of the fourth season of The Voice. Also expected, The Swon Brothers got the third spot while quirky Michelle Chamuel gave Usher the runner-up title. Blake has won three out of four times now, which is insane. He'll probably take a break after S5 or eventually. Danielle is a good winner but I was rooting for Michelle. While the former played it safe for the entire season, Michelle took risks every chance she got and in the end, despite not getting her to win, it payed off. I would've never imagined her as a finalist when I first saw her audition. The same goes for The Swon Brothers, who slowly built a loyal fan base. The fact that they were the only male act come Top 8 week didn't hurt either. I can totally see Danielle being a successful singer, she's young, cute and has a lovely voice. I can picture her following Taylor Swift's route but on country charts. We've not seen the last from her, there's no doubt about that.

On a side note, I know my coverage of this season has been sucky at best, I'll try to do better come S5. Maybe I even get motivated enough to recap the auditions!
