Many of you may be thinking right now who the hell are they ... well, they are rebound! This guys are no stranger for swedishs, in fact, they were both contestants on the last Idol season, on 2009. Eddie Razaz and Rabih Jaber, who finished 6th and 7th respectively, you can check my last season recap
HERE. Since then, both friends joined forces to create rebound!. And glad they did ... The guys were signed by Sony BMG and released their first single, Hurricane, on April 12, 2010, which charted #1 on the Swedish Charts. "Not Helpless" is their second single, released on August 9, 2010. I really liked them on Idol but didn't think they will made it as solists, so this group thing is a great idea ... Their sound is really RnB with some rap and pop influences. Their debut album is set to be out late this year or early the next one. I'm really enjoying this peeps ...

The final 8 contestants battle it out in Rock Night!! Who would raise the bar and who would crumble under preassure?! Will Altiyan bring another massive performance?, will India be able to stay away of the Bottom?, will it be the end of the road for one of the boys? ... It's time to face the music!

Will Katie prove voters are wrong?, will Rebecca overcome her nerves?, will Aiden be able to match his last performance? ... It's time to face the music!

Finally!! "Ambitions" is here! The current title-holder of the X Factor is getting ready to release his debut, "Wide Awake" on October 25, and in the meantime, he's just released a single! "Ambitions" was released on October 8 and it is a cover of Donkeyboy's original version. The music video, which was directed by Nigel Dick, premiered on September 23. The song was also featured on the first result show of this year's X Factor. The song is very Mika but I still can feel Joe's particular tone in this. It's not what I really expected but I like it. It's original and different and not boring as those classic pop tunes. The video is also good and pretty enjoyable, plus it has a really good director. Let's hope the album is as fresh as this song is ....

"Loca" is Shakira's lead single of her upcoming album "Sale el Sol", stated for release on October 15. The song features Dizzee Rascal and was released on September 1. The music video, which premiered on September 29, was filmed in Barcelona, Spain and features a really sexy Shakira along with Dizzee. The song is very Shakira. It has that latin pop sound but nothing more. It's not really unique, a pretty cliche song I'll say. But it's a fun song and a fun video. I want to move and dance to this song and I guess that was the idea with this video ...

Paige Cook isn't a famous artist, yet. This sweet girl first catched my attention on YouTube, where she uploads her covers. I contacted her and I did an interview to her, which you can check
HERE. Since then, Paige has released her first EP independently which is titled "Unplugged Heart". The EP was released on July 20, 2010 and features 6 original songs by her. The album has a really folky/acoustic vibe but it could be also considered a soft pop, maybe in the Sara Bareilles vibe. It's really catchy and I strongly recommend buying it. Apart from releasing her first EP, Paige has auditioned for this season of American Idol and she's got all my support! This talent shouldn't be wasted ...

Firstly I've to say that my opinions will be biased as Brandon is one of my top arists at the moment. "Only the Young" is his second solo single, which will be released on December 6, 2010. The music video premiered on October 5, 2010 and was directed by Sophie Muller. This is one of my favourites songs of his album, Flamingo, which was released on September 3 and will be reviewed later this week on the blog. The video is so amazing!!!! The fire circle, Brandon's slow dancing, the fog, the lights! Terrific! And the song is so good! Beautiful lyrics and rythm. The part with the dancers falling from the roof is kewl! My only bad comment will be that the video quality isn't that good, but, it's amazing! A magical journey I'll say .... I told you I was biased ...
