I'm currently looking for some new writers in order to expand the blog given that I can't post the amount of things I'd like to. So if you are interested in writing about anything related to music (news, TV shows, album reviews, introducing artists) just drop me an email to musicisthedoor@gmail.com and we can discuss some of your ideas.

'Somebody to Love' is an electropop song performed by Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester featuring Robin Thicke. It is the lead single from her debut album and from her debut album and was produced by Mike Caren and written by Rico Love. The music video was directed by Zoe Cassevetes and was released online on 8th November 2009 to Last.FM. It's an uptempo electropop song that harks influences of early 80's dance music like that of Blondie. It draws influences of pop music, electronica and R&B with Robin Thicke's vocals. She said in an interview that 'the song is basically about how I can't get any — I can't find anyone to love. I really wanted to make something that's completely different from anything that's on the radio right now. I feel like it's really dancy and fun, but it's still laid back and relaxed and moody and sexy'.
