So, the polls are finally in. After the death of my computer I finally posted them. As I was delayed, this first round will end on January 10, 2010 and the final round will begin on January 11 and end on the 21. The YT/MS Artist of the Year Award will be given after I post my 15 nominations.

I couldn't find any videos for this season (again), well actually I couldn't embed any. So I had paste the videos under each contestant. You can watch them by clicking on the small video tape. My favourite 3 are: Camélia-Jordana, she has such an unique voice!, it remembers me of Megan Joy's one, you know, with a quite exotic sound; Dalé, he sounds like the french Seal, very good voice; and Lary, despite his funny aspect, I like him a lot, his cover of James Morrison's "You give me Somthing" was great.

"Black Box" is the debut single recorded by season seven winner of Australian Idol, Stan Walker. It is from his debut album, "Introducing... Stan Walker." The song was released digitally on November 22, 2009 where it broke records as the fastest selling Sony Music download ever. A music video was filmed on November 24, 2009. Walker made comment stating “There might be a little bit of group dancing… we’ll see what happens. At first I was really nervous but I’ve warmed up now and I’m getting into it. I’m working on my look” [...] “It’s pretty cool – it’s my first ever film clip. It’s basically a house party that explains the lyrics. It talks about a relationship that has gone down but everything is still recorded in the black box. I really like it."

"Broken Heels" is the second single of Alexandra Burke's debut album, Overcome. Written by Nadir Khyatt, Bilal Hajji, Savan Kotecha and produced by RedOne, the single is to be released in the United Kingdom on 11 January, 2010. The music video was filmed in Los Angeles on 22 and 23 November 2009, as confirmed by Burke's official twitter page. It was choreographed by Frank Gatson and JaQuel Knight, who have also worked with Beyoncé. The music video consists of Burke and several female dancers, who are dressed in "gold leotards with huge football-style shoulder pads and heels." It premiered on UK music video channel The Box on 11 December 2009.

I couldn't find a single biography of the contestants, so I didn't post any. My top 3: Birgit, Anne, Kene. AMAZING singers and performers. Anne is the best singer, Kene the best performer and Birgit is a combination of both. My favourite of the three is definitely Kene, she is so unique and I found her voice very rare, being eliminated so early didn't give her the chance to show her amazing potential.

The 23-year-old singer was rushed to the hospital in an apparent suicide attempt on December 5. Billy Joel, her father, assured the public that his daughter Alexa Ray Joel "is going to be fine," speaking to a Newsday reporter. Alexa Ray, the only child of Joel and his ex-wife Christie Brinkley, was admitted to St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York after swallowing unidentified pills and complaining of difficulty breathing. She has since been released from the hospital and is staying with her father at an undisclosed location, her publicist told the AP on Monday.A family friend attributed Alexa Ray's troubles to a "rough breakup with a boyfriend" (James "Jimmy Riot" Elliot).
Weezer lead singer injured

Weezer frontman, Rivers Cuomo, has suffered minor injuries after the group's tour bus hit some ice, skidded across the New York State Thruway and slid into a ditch. Police say singer Rivers Cuomo and the band's assistant were taken to a local hospital following Sunday's early morning accident in upstate New York, about 40 miles west of Albany. The assistant also suffered minor injuries. State police say the group was driving to Boston when the vehicle struck ice and the driver lost control. The remainder of the band's December tour has been canceled. A statement on the band's Web site said dates will be rescheduled if possible.

Soul Awards Rule Changes

The rules for the Soul Award of Idol of the Year have changed. Below the post there will be a poll with the name of the contestants selected in the entry and you'll be able to vote for them. The three with more votes will advance to the first round of votations on December 23. You can vote for one week since the entry was posted. So check the American Idol post because now there will be a poll below it. The contestants will be in the same order as in the post. You can't vote more than once for the same contestant in these stage, but you'll be able to vote for 3 different contestants.

The long awaited dates and categories of the first edition of The Soul Awards arrive!!
Dates:
As December releases wouldn't have entered, the awards have been changed to January 2010.
The first round of the votation will begin on December 31, 2009 and will end on January 10, 2010.
The second and final round will begin on January 11, 2010 and will end on January 21, 2010; being the winners announced.
In the first round, of all the entries for each categorie, you will be able to vote for your favourites, and then the 5 most voted will continue to the final round.
Then, in the final round, you will vote for one of the 5 top-vote-getters to decide who is the winner of each categorie.

Adam Lambert's AMAs scandal

Adam shocked TV audiences on Sunday's American Music Awards during his performance of 'For Your Entertainment' when he kissed a male keyboard player and shoved another dancer's face into his crotch.
Lambert won't apologize for his shock ing performance on ABC Sunday night and says he's being singled out because he's gay. 'I admit I did get carried away, but I don't see anything wrong with it', he said yesterday on CBS' 'The Early Show'. 'I'm not a babysitter. I'm a performer . . . I think it's because I'm a gay male'.
ABC, which received over 1,500 complaints, canceled Lambert's scheduled appearance on 'Good Morning America'. 'I do see how people got offended and that was not my intention. My intention was to interpret the lyrics of my song and have a good time with it. If it had been a female pop performer doing [those] moves that were on the stage, I don't think there would be nearly as much of an outrage' he said.

Robbie Williams proposes to his girlfriend

Robbie Williams has proposed to his girlfriend, the pop star's mother Jan has confirmed. Williams asked actress Ayda Field to be his 'betrothed for the end of time' on an Australian radio show, but it was initially perceived to be a joke. However, Jan Williams told BBC Radio 5 live that her son had revealed his proposal plans to her a week ago.However, it is still not clear whether the radio proposal was for real - or whether Williams had popped the question beforehand. Williams was appearing on the Australian radio station 2Day FM, when breakfast show host Jackie Henderson told him that Sydney had a reputation for celebrity proposals. Turning to his girlfriend, the 35-year-old said: 'Ayda Field, I love you so much. Do you mind being my betrothed for the end of time?'. Field, who was in the studio at the time, laughed before saying: "I would love to be your betrothed 'til the end of time."

Rebecca Cole is 19 year old english singer-songwriter who is currently unsigned and attending Warwick University where she has a band, 'Such Modern Ways'. Her appearance reminds me of Hayley Williams, but she insist her hair looks more like Florence Welch's one. Becca has a YouTube account, loveuloveb, where she covers different songs, and a MySpace account, beccadelamusique, where she uploads original songs. Her influences are Patrick Wolf, Florence + the Machine, Bjork and Paramore. She is an acoustic singer and is often seen playing the guitar in her videos, she can also speak in french. Becca's soulful and deep voice blends perfectly with her guitar playing and makes her singing very relaxing. Her original songs 'Overdue'(video below) and 'We Belong' (in her MySpace site) are great examples of how good she is. I hope that you can see her greatness through this YouTube videos.Videos:

Brick By Boring Brick Video Premiere

'Brick by Boring Brick' is the second single from Paramore's third album Brand New Eyes.The music video was filmed in Los Angeles on October 8, 2009 and directed by Meiert Avis. In an interview with MTV, bassist Jeremy Davis explained that the band had created a treatment for the video before receiving further ideas from several directors. The video is Paramore's first to not be performance based and some of the members of the band are only seen for a short period of time. It is also their first video to be filmed in front of green screen, and to have 'a whole story behind it', with acting. Guitarist Josh Farro likened the video to the 2006 Spanish fantasy film Pan's Labyrinth. It was originally set to premiere on November 17 on The Hills, but was later postponed. The video was eventually released on Paramore.net on November 23.

Initially presented as an audio stream to those who joined her web site's official mailing list, on September 14, 2009, it was released via digital download on September 22, 2009. The music video for the song was directed by Robert Hales. It premiered on November 20, 2009. Miley Cyrus tour bus overturned

Virginia State Police say one person was killed when a tour bus belonging to Miley Cyrus overturned, but she wasn't on board. Sgt. Thomas Molnar says the bus overturned around 8:15 a.m. Friday on Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie, about 40 miles south of Richmond. One of the other nine passengers had minor injuries. Police would not identify those aboard.

'Video Phone' is a song by Beyoncé from her third studio album, I Am... Sasha Fierce. The track was released as the album's eighth single. Before its release as a single, the song charted in late 2008 due to strong digital sales. It was sent to U.S. radio on September 22, 2009. The official remix and music video of the song featuring Lady Gaga will be included on the 2009 deluxe edition of the album. A music video for the extended remix was directed by Hype Williams and premiered on November 17.

'Friday I'll Be Over U' is the first single from the debut album, Just Like You, of Allison Iraheta. It was written by Max Martin, Shellback, Savan Kotecha and Tiffany Amber. The single debuted on AOL's Popeater on October 5, 2009 and was made officially available through digital distribution on November 3, 2009 after being released and pulled from online distributors in early October. Allison recorded a version of the song in Spanish, named 'El Viernes Te Olvido Yo'. The music video premiered on Yahoo! Music on November 18, 2009.

'Give It Up to Me' is the second single in the US from Shakira's third English studio album She Wolf. The song features American rapper Lil Wayne and was produced by hip-hop producer Timbaland. It only appears on the US version of the album. People Magazine gave an exclusive first look of the video on November 13, 2009 and the full video had its premiere on November 16, 2009 on Shakira's official Facebook page. The video was directed by Sophie Muller. Shakira is amazing as always, but Lil Wayne isn't very good in my opinion, it doesn't makes any favour to the video.
Rod Stewart is sued

An entertainment law firm is suing Rod Stewart for $3.3 million in legal fees it claims he owes. The firm has numerous high-profile clients and recently won judgments for architect Frank Gehry and television host Bob Barker. The lawsuit claims Stewart owes for work on three cases, including one involving the singer's cancellation of a December 2000 show in Las Vegas. A federal jury decided Stewart owed the Rio hotel-casino $2 million for canceling the show.
Aerosmith members are worried for Tyler's health

Even as they contemplate working with another singer, Steven Tyler's Aerosmith bandmates say they're worried about their frontman's health and well being. Joey Kramer told: 'Steven, he isolates more and more all the time -- that's what gives it away to me that there's something going on. I don't know what that is. I know he's made some not so great choices and he's got some negative influences around him now. I love the guy. I just want to see him get some help'. The group does seem resolved in its decision to look for another singer to work with. Whitford predicts that while 'no one can fill Steven Tyler's shoes', the selection process will come down to 'people that we know or are friends that we think might consider doing it'. He's also not ruling out a reconciliation with Tyler. 'We would love to see that happen. I hear all the fans and everybody, but no group of guys would like him back more than we would. We would never shut the door -- there might be a sign on that door that has a list of qualifications, but we would never shut the door'.

Bell X1 are an Irish rock band from County Kildare. They have thus far released four critically-acclaimed albums in Ireland, and in recent years have gained success in the United States, where their music has been used on popular television shows such as The O.C. and Grey's Anatomy. Their fourth album 'Blue Lights on the Runway' was released in Ireland on 20 February 2009 and had a US release on 3 March 2009.
They began as Juniper, a successful 1990s act in Ireland which included Damien Rice before he became internationally renowned as a solo artist. They consist of Paul Noonan (Lead vocals; Guitar; drums; percussion; kazoo), David Geraghty (Lead guitar; banjo; (electric) piano; backing vocals) andDominic Philips (Bass guitar; backing vocals).
Their music has very rare beats and Paul's voice is pretty good.
Beautiful Bride Video Premiere

'Beautiful Bride' is the second single by Flyleaf from their second album, Memento Mori. The song was officially available for digital download on October 6, 2009. Directed by Don Tyler, the music video featured the the same style of animation and direction that debuted in the 'Again' music video. The video was briefly banned from YouTube due to copyright restrictions, but the video has since been made available now that the single has officially been released. The video features lead singer Lacey Mosley as the bridesmaid to the 'beautiful bride,' and the video is set on a beach-side pier. The music video begins with the bridesmaid getting the bride ready for her wedding. The two slowly walk down the the pier toward the bride's husband, while animations of other humans and sea creatures swirl in the background. During the middle of the song animations of humans and sea creatures appear. The video ends when the bride reaches the groom and an ending montage plays while the music swells to its crescendo.
More Elvis's hair auctioned

A strand of hair from Elvis Presley, saved by his personal barber, has raised £1,055 at auction. Homer Gill Gilleland toured with Elvis for more than 20 years. He dyed the singer's hair black and then cut it, saving strands in a towel. Friends of Mr Gilleland said he would then bundle up the towel, with hair inside, and take it home in a bag. The piece of hair had been expected to fetch up to £250 at Saturday's auction in Devizes, Wiltshire. It was auctioned at Henry Aldridge and Son in Devizes.

Sharon Osbourne has said sorry for insulting Britain's Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle on a US radio station. Osbourne stated on Twitter that she wanted to 'apologise for getting a cheap laugh' at the Scottish singer's expense. Gucci Mane sentenced to 12 months in jail

Rapper Gucci Mane was sentenced to 12 months in jail on November 12 for probation violation. Mane pled guilty to assault in 2005 for attacking a nightclub promoter. Last September, he was sentenced to a year in jail for failing to fulfill his court-ordered 600 hours of community service. He was incarcerated until March. After his release, Mane recorded five new songs. The Atlanta rapper has an album coming out December 8th, entitled "The State vs. Radric Davis," on Asylum/Warner Brothers. It seems that rappers are misbehaving in the last few weeks as two other rappers, Lil Wayne and Lil' Boosie, were sentenced to jail.

Since I've started uploading songs I've been thinking if it's the right thing to do. So I'm truly consdiering to stop the uploads, as they kill my machine and as I consider them immoral. The files already uploded will remain but I won't upload them again if the link goes down.

It was written by Kipner, Frampton, O'Donoghue and Sheehan. It's an uptempo song that talks about a couple that fights cause he doesn't say what he feels. Kris says in the song: 'What you want me to say that I don't say? What you want when it's written all over my face?'

Lil' Boosie sentenced to four years in prison

Rapper Lil' Boosie was sentenced to four years in prison on Monday for violating his probation. He was placed under house arrest with an ankle monitor after being convicted of drug and gun charges in September. But the ankle monitor indicates that on more than one occasion he violated the terms of his release. Lil Boosie has been ordered to report to prison immediately after Monday's hearing, and he will be on probation for five years following his release. The firearm charge will be dropped if he completes his probation.

I also wanted to announce that on December there are coming 'The Soul Awards', the annual music awards of Music is the Door to the Soul. 'Live Like We're Dying' is the first single from Kris Allen. It was originally recorded by Irish band The Script as a bonus track for the Japanese release of their self-titled debut album. Kris Allen's version of the song was released via New York's Z100 on September 21, 2009. The music video was directed by Marco Puig and filmed in a desert near Los Angeles, California. The video premiered on AOL's PopEater on November 6, 2009. The video begins with Allen pulling up to a junkyard in a white pickup truck at night, with a watch hanging from his key chain. Then, Allen takes a power cord out of the back of the truck and carries it through the junkyard until he plugs it in and flips a switch to turn on a large countdown clock. As the clock reaches zero, Allen leaves and begins walking away from the camera as the sun rises. Throughout the video, Allen is shown playing both an acoustic guitar and a piano, as well as singing without any instruments.

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has been granted a restraining order against a man arrested on Friday on suspicion of stalking the star. Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr, 25, was arrested after he entered the E! Entertainment building in LA. Court papers say Mr Uzomah was trying to see Seacrest and that he was armed with a knife. Seacrest wrote in a court statement: 'His aggressive and violent efforts to come into physical contact with me are extremely frightening to me. They have jeopardised not only my personal safety but also the safety and wellbeing of those around me'. A court hearing on whether to grant a three-year restraining order against Mr Uzomah will be held on 17 November.
Canadian singer Taylor Mitchell is killed by coyotes

Two coyotes have attacked and killed a 19-year-old folk singer in Nova Scotia, eastern Canada. Taylor Mitchell died in hospital after the animals pounced as she hiked alone in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Walkers alerted park rangers after hearing her screams. Bleeding heavily from multiple bite wounds, the singer-songwriter was airlifted to a Halifax hospital, but died of her injuries on October 28th morning. Coyotes attack on humans are very rare because they are usually afraid of them. Taylor was nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award for Young Performer of the Year.

Bruce Springsteen canceled a performance in Kansas City on Monday after the death of his cousin who was the assistant road manager of the E Street Band. The death of Lenny Sullivan, 36, who had been with the band for 10 years, was announced in a statement on the U.S. rock star's website. TMZ reported that Sullivan was found in his room at a local hotel on Monday afternoon.

Morrissey collapses during a concert

Morrissey was released Sunday from a hospital where he was held overnight after collapsing on stage during a concert. Kanye West has been cleared of criminal charges following a scuffle with a photographer at LA International airport on 11 September, 2008. However, he (who was not in court) must complete 50 hours of community service, an LA City Attorney's Office spokesman said. He and his manager, Don Crawley, were arrested after apparently breaking a photographer's camera flash. A video shot by the gossip website TMZ appeared to show West smashing the camera while inside the airport terminal.

Justin Timberlake has been granted a temporary restraining order against a woman described by his lawyer as 'an obsessed, mentally unstable stalker'. You may probably know them as the struggling musicians in 2007 film Once and maybe for their amazing 'Falling Slowly'. They are known as The Swell Season (Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová). This is their third album, 'Strict Joy'. It will be released on October 23 in Ireland. Hansard said about the new album: 'For me, it's just an audio diary. It's just another installment of the life we lead'. The first single 'In these Arms' was released on August 18 via iTunes. Their style would classify as folk though they have this kind of powerful pop-rock voice. Glen's and Markéta's voice blends into a relaxing and I'll dear to say orgasmic album, which is definitely a must-have.

Lil Wayne to recive a one-year jail sentence

The rapper Lil Wayne has pleaded guilty to attempted weapon possession, and expects to receive a one-year jail sentence. He previously had pleaded not guilty to illegal gun possession charges that carried at least three and a half years in prison upon conviction. The gun was found by police in the tour bus while in Manhattan in 2007. His trial was due to start January 20. Wayne is prison-bound after taking a surprise and docile gun possession guilty plea this morning in return for a promise of one year behind bars. He'll be spending most of 2010 in an upstate cage. Celebrity defense lawyer Stacey Richman has repeatedly complained that the gun actually belonged to another, uncharged associate of the rapper who was on the bus and was willing to accept responsibilty for it. A tiny handful of cells (from two to 16)were swabbed off the grip and trigger and matched to Lil Wayne's own genetic profile. Lil is due back in court for a pre-sentencing proceeding on December 15, at which time a precise February sentencing date will be set by the judge.
REM call for Guantanamo closure

Rock bands including Pearl Jam and REM have joined a coalition of musicians to support the US president's efforts to close the Guantanamo Bay prison. The National Campaign to Close Guantanamo, which also includes former military officers, was launched on October 20. In a statement, REM said: 'We have spent the past 30 years supporting causes related to peace and justice. To now learn that some of our friends' music may have been used as part of the torture tactics without their consent or knowledge, is horrific. It's an anti-American period'.

The prank was a set up of a Fox News Web page headlining West's death in 'a bizarre car crash in Los Angeles'. The fraudulent web site that churned out the news of West's faux-death has been taken down. Kanye's girlfriend, Amer Rose, use her Twitter account to say: 'This 'RIP Kanye West' topic is not funny and it's NOT TRUE!, he has people like myself and his family that love him very much...'. So far it has peaked the 89 position on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is a cover from The Script's one but it's better. We all expected a soft ballad from Kris but this potential pop rock hit took us by surprise. Kris album will be definitely great.
Time for Miracles - Adam LambertSurprisingly finishing as the runner-up, this is his first release since Idol's 'No Boundries'. It was released on October 16 via Amazon. The song will act as the soundtrack of the upcoming film 2012. Although it is a huge song, Adam confirmed it won't be the lead single of his album. As all apocaliptical soundtracks, this song has very strong vocals and it makes us feel how the people are feeling. The suffering in Adam's voice succeeds in conveying the suffering from the movie. I can't wait to have his album!!

After weeks of speculation, Def Jam Records announced today that Rihanna will be releasing her fourth studio album, 'Rated R' on November 23. The first single, 'Russian Roulette', will premiere today at 11:23 a.m. EST on Rihanna's official website, while an accompanying video, directed by Anthony Mandler, will debut on ABC. This will be the first release since 2007 popular 'Good Girl Gone Bad'.
