The Voice UK 2014: New Coaches, New Presenters, New Schedule!

Just in case you're wondering, no you haven't travelled forward in time by three months, it's still 2013! However, whilst The X Factor takes up our screens for the next few months, BBC1's rival to the singing competition, The Voice UK doesn't want to be forgotten that easily so they have made quite a few big announcements in the past few weeks. With Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue quitting after two series in the red chairs, two new coaches are set to join the panel. Who? Scroll down to find out.

After a disappointing Slutauditions final challenge, the judges narrowed the remaining contestants down to 20, leaving us with a mostly good bunch of semi-finalists. During the week, they'll perform live for the first time in order to win the public's vote and impress the judges enough to earn a wildcard spot in case they don't make the cut. Who'll be the shining star of the week?

X Factor Australia 2013: Top 9 Perform: Latest and Greatest

Last week, the Top 10 took on Top 10 hits and it was finally Barry Southgate's turn to say goodbye when facing JTR in the B2. Tonight, the Top 9 perform the biggest songs of right now. Pink, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding, Little Mix. Who'll step up to the challenge? ... It's time to face the music!

So after probably the weakest room auditions show so far, we have a number of new contenders for the crown with boyband Kingsland, returnees Rough Copy and Steph Woods and youngster Giles Potter all potential live show contestants. However, of course they still have to impress the audience so will they and many more manage to win over the audience in the arena?

The auditions finally came to an end and now, the remaining 119 contestants must face the hardest challenge yet, the Slutauditions. In the next 4 days they'll have to give their everything in order to impress the judges. Who'll make it to the semi-finals? Who won't step up to the challenge?

The talent on the show so far has been fairly decent although arena auditions has already seen the departure of a few of the favourites such as Luke Britnell. I'm looking forward to seeing who else will emerge this year with the groups category severely underrepresented so far.

The pressure is on for the contestants to impress the audience after they impressed the judges last night in the rooms. Will returnees Melanie, Jade and Amy manage to come up trumps? Will Abi prove Louis wrong as she takes a risk with an original song and will Relley C live up to the hype that I have given her after her superb first audition? Last week, the top 11 took on the greatest legends of all time. With Jiordan and Dami stealing the show, it was Cat Vas the latest act eliminated from the competition when she had to face Joelle in the B2. 10 remain and tonight, they'll be taking on, wait for it, Top 10 hits. Will they flop? ... It's time to face the music!
