Jaap: Don't Stop Believing Video Premiere

Jaap van Reesema is the latest winner of the dutch version of the X Factor. After his run on the show, he was signed with Sony BMG and went to release his first single, a cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing", which has climbed the dutch charts peaking #1. His first music video has a very original concept. I've never seen this approach on this song. I won't say is a masterpice but it's good, enjoyable. And Jaap's voice is perfect, quite raspy and very powerful.

Fantasia: Bittersweet Video Premiere

"Bittersweet" is the lead single form Fantasia's third album, "Back to Me" to be released on August 10. The song was released on May 11, 2010 and the music video premiered on June 25. The video was directed by Lenny Bass and features proffesional football player Devin Thomas as Fantasia's lover. I confess I wasn't a big fan of hers, I didn't really like how her voice sounds and the songs of her pasts albums. But this is a hole different thing, it's a huge WOW! It's sounds like one of the late jazz singers as Ella Fitzgerald but with a soulish blend and an incredible powerfulness. Conclusion, I'm in love with her now!

Remember Antonella Barba form American Idol S6? Yes, that hot girl who was terribly bad and came out 16th. Well, she is back! And she has improved greatly! With her new single "Jersey Girl" from her upcoming debut album, sexy Antonella exploits her body at the most and her voice sound really nice and pleasant! I really enjoyed this video and I'd bet you will too! It premiered on her YouTube channel on June 24.

Season 9 was the best season in a long time, despite what everyone says of it being the worst. It had exactly the type of singers I like and some real talents will come out of it, just wait a year or two!

"Round & Round" is Selena's new single from her upcoming second album still to be named. It was released on June 22 and the video on June 18. Selena Gomez isn't the type of artists I use to post, but this vieo catched my attention and I know some of you are fans of her, so here it is.

Catching Up With: Michael Sarver

American Idol Season 8 10th place finalist, Michael Sarver, is releasing his eponymous debut album on July 27, 2010. He's already released three singles from the album, "You Are", "Cindirella Girl" and the most recent "Ferris Wheel", for which he filmed a music video, after being signed by Dream Records/Fontana Distribution. Michael will be one of the few 10th finalists to release an album, being the others Lisa Tucker (S5) and Chris Sligh (S6) both quiet unsucessful; S9's Didi Benami's fate is until not determined and I believe she has a bright future. We just have to wait to see how his album does.

Kelis: 4th of July (Fireworks) Video Premiere

Amazing Kelis has just released her fifth album "Flesh Tone". The second single from the album "4th of July (Fireworks)" was released on June 8 and a music video of it debuted on YouTube on June 16. The video was all that I expected, it had fireworks, fire and a gorgous Kelis. She is supposedly depicted as the four elements and well, she does look like one. But regarding this, very enjoyable video.

Adam Lambert: If I Had You Video Premiere

Glam rocker's king, Idol Season 8 runner up Adam Lambert has recently released this amazingly ... WEIRD music video on June14. But not a bad weird, a good weird if that's possible. We all know by now that Adam really enjoys wearing costumes, and he recluted a bunch of people that also do in this video, including the great Allison Iraheta. The video is really fun if we don't take it serious and Adam vocals are great as always in this song.
