The Voice Australia Season 2: The Battles

UPDATE: Part 4 added. The Battles are now over.
56 contestants earned a place on a team but after this round, only 32 will go through to the Showdown Rounds were Australia will start to decide who'll be The Voice. Each team will be supposedly composed of .... The coaches will be assisted by music industry mentors. One Republic front man Ryan Tedder joins Delta, Ben Lee teams up with Joel, Australian Idol winner Jessica Mauboy will aid Ricky and Sneaky Sound System's lead singer Connie Mitchell will help Seal.The steal also comes into play this season, being named the "Save". Each coach will get to save one artist from an unsuccessful team leaving each team with 8 members. Who'll crumble under the pressure? Who'll emerge victorious? Who'll get a second chance?

The Voice Of Ireland: Season 2: Top 4 Perform - The Final

So it's the final of The Voice Of Ireland! We have finally got to the stage and after tonight, one of Kelly, Shane, Shannon or Keith will become the second winner of the show. We know that Sharon won't be coaching the winning act but last year's winning coach Bressie, last year's loser Kian and new girl Jamelia are still in the running. I must admit based on the competition at the start, Shannon being here isn't a surprise, nor is Keith being here. Kelly being in the final isn't surprising based on her live show performances and Shane being here, well I'm quite surprised about that as he hasn't honestly been great, though I loved his blind audition. I think Shannon or Kelly will win.

The Voice of Vlaanderen Season 2: Top 16 Highlights

A withdrawal shocked the series this week as one of the contestants had to leave the competition for medical issues. Said contestant was replaced by one of it's team mates, to not so good results. This week, three new entries freshen things up, as nine contestants make a lasting impression, advancing to the next round.

The Voice UK Season 2: The Blind Auditions!

The Voice UK is back for a second season, after a relatively good first series. Whether they will be able to improve upon the flaws of the first series with the sophomore season remains to be seen but with the panel staying as it is, the only thing changing will be the format itself, with more contestants on each coach's team, further use of the rotating chairs and the brand new 'knockout rounds'. Hollie and Reggie are back too, so with a few new format changes but no new faces on the panel, maybe the new changes will prove a godsend for the show.

And it's back! Sorry for the delay but I've been quite busy but I knew I couldn't stop covering this show. The first season brought some awesome talent, including Fatai V, Viktoria Bolonina, Emma Louise Birdsall, Ben Hazlewood, Lakyn Heperi and the phenomenal Diana Rouvas to name a few. Seal won the season with Karise Eden, who went on to top the charts after the show. As previously reported, Seal, Delta and Joel will be returning for a second go at the title. Keith, however, has left the show in order to join American Idol's S12. Replacing him is Latino star Ricky Martin. With that, let's take a look at this year's hopefuls, shall we?

The Voice Of Ireland: Season 2: The Semi-Finals: Top 6 Perform!

Last week saw the teams going against each other in the public vote for the first time and the result saw one from each team leave as Ray from Team Kian, Aoife from Team Sharon, Sinead from Team Bressie and Wayne from Team Jamelia were eliminated leaving us with six acts for the semi-final. With Team Sharon and Team Jamelia down to one act each, it's possible that Bressie or Kian will end up with two acts in the final at the expense of one of the female coaches.

X Factor Australia 2013: Final Jury Reveled!

Dannii Minogue joined the panel last week and this time Guy Sebastian's seat is being occupied. As you may remember both Mel B and Guy left the show at the end of season 4, which was won by the fantastic Samantha Jade, leaving two spots at the judges table. Fear no more, we know now how the panel will look next year!

Spring is finally here! And that can only mean one thing, The Voice franchise is starting to bloom, with Ukraine being no exception. I'm not your usual TV user, especially but there are two TV shows I watch like a real TV junkie with a pack of sunflower seeds (#2 Ukrainian food after borscht), The X Factor UA and The Voice UA, also known as Holos Krainy ( Голос країни), which I'll be presenting to you.

Another three contestants left last week
when Roisin, Andy and Mark were all eliminated from the competition
whilst Wayne, Sinead, Shannon, John and Ray made it through to the Top
10 of the competition. Tonight, the remaining eight contestants, Kelly
and Shane from Team Kian, Aoife and Tammy from Team Sharon, Andrew and
Katy-Anna from Team Bressie and Dylan and Keith from Team Jamelia will
compete for the last five places in the Top 10.

The Voice Belgique Season 2: Top 32 - Part 2 - Highlights

Last week, 9 hopefuls were featured. 3 of them were sent packing. The best performances were Robin Guérit's energetic "Je dis aime" and Angy Sciacqua's vocal masterclass with "A natural woman". This week 10 contestants did enough for me, with only 2 of them going home.

Idol Norge 2013: Top 10 Highlights

I'm sorry I've not covered this show so far because I really wanted to. However, I'll try to catch up with it now. After Jenny Langlo won S6, the judges panel was revamped. Joining returning judge Gunnar Greve Pettersen are Esben Selvig and former Idol contestants Tone Damli Aaberge (S3 runner-up) and Kurt Nilsen (S1 winner). There's not much to review this week as most of the contestants were below average. Only 4 girls stood up in my opinion (one not necessarily in a good way) and unfortunately, one of them was sent packing.

Introducing: Laura Welsh

I know it's been a while since I introduced a new artist so what a better way of coming back than by presenting to you someone who's new to me as well. While watching "Grey's Anatomy" last night (yes, I do watch it), I was surprised by some of the songs featured during the episode but the one that resonated the most was "Hollow Drum" by the talented Mrs Welsh. During it's nine season run, Grey's has never failed to introduce amazing artists, being Laura granted the honor on S9's "Idle Hands". A mix between Florence and the Machine, Emeli Sandé and Feist, the newcomer only has two songs on the web, the aforementioned "Hollow Drum" and the equally awesome "Unravel", which is very Rhye's "Open" sounding. Judging by the very few we've heard, and know, of this lady, I'd say she's here to stay.

We took a look at the first liveshow some days ago. Only 6 contestants made a lasting impression on me, with Matthijs Vanstaen being the absolute show-stealer. This week not much has changed, with 7 new contestants earning a place in the recap. Two of them were eliminated, while the rest lives to see another performance. Note worthy, not a single member of Team Natalia is included while all Team Jasper is.

The Voice Belgique Season 2: Top 32 - Part 1 - Highlights

Just like I did with the XF Philippines the past year, I'll be posting
some highlights from The Voice Belgique liveshows, since I don't
have enough time to cover the full show. Belgium is the only country to
have two editions, one is French spoken (this one) and the other one, The Voice van Vlaanderen (which was posted earlier), is Dutch spoken. I fully enjoyed the past season, up until the semifinals, in which all my faves were eliminated. Season 1 was ultimately won by Roberto Bellarosa, who'll be competing on Sweden's Eurovision, with Renato Bennardo as the runner-up. Quentin and B.J Scott return to judge, with Lio and Joshua being replaced by Marc Pinilla and Natasha St-Pier. After the jump, check the 9 stand-outs from the 1st liveshow, then hit the comments! All the judges, Alex Callier, Jasper Steverlinck, Koen Wauters and Natalia Druyts, return for a second season. Season 1 was won by Glenn Claes with Silke Mastbooms as the runner up. Last week saw another four artists leaving the competition after Bressie had to send Terri home, Jamelia sent Jennifer home, Kian sent Kyle home and it was the end of Stephen on Sharon's team. Tonight, oddly half of each team performs yet again meaning that one will survive and one will leave on each team. Bit of a shame but you never know what will happen.

X Factor Denmark 2013: Top 3 Perform: The Finale!

I was devastated with Amanda's eliminationn last week. The girl had everything yet she couldn't manage to get more votes than our three finalists, boyband Wasteland, folk singer Chresten and chart-ready Karoline. One will be taking the title tonight, who will it be? ... It's time to face the music!

X Factor Denmark 2013: Top 4 Perform: The Semi-Final

Chameleon Stephanie left the show last week, leaving us with only 4 contestants fighting for the title, Anne's manufactured boyband Wasteland, Blachman's lasses Karoline and Amanda and Ida's Over Chresten, but one more must go home before next week's big final. They will sing two songs tonight, one picked by the viewers and one picked by the judges. Also worth noting, last year's winner, Ida, returns with her new single "Underdog"! Who will the unlucky one be? ... It's time to face the music!
